It's something like I am in a race, initially quite ahead of everyone and then I see one by one my friends crossing me and taking over, moving so fast that I loose their sight and no matter how hard I try I cannot keep pace with them, meanwhile more people join in and they too move way past ahead of me. It's like those dreams wherein you are trying to catch someone or trying to scream but you can't, you try very hard but all in vein. I guess you know what I am talking about.

absolutely. but if you slow down a bit, you'll find they're creating a pretty nice breeze for you as they pass...and only you are noticing the loose change on the ground...and stepping carefully enough to avoid the insects that are so grateful someone out of the whole bunch is walking deliberately and with a little care...and you'll all reach the same destination...but your recollection of the trip will have so much more detail and events and occurrences because of all you took time enough to notice and take in...

and yes, i know what you're talking about :)
You know what, you honestly don't need to be in any race. Like 'ch' mentioned. Enjoy the process cause its totally worth it. And trust me though its not nice to see people go ahead, remember that they are always turning around and looking at you enjoying the ride and are envious!
I love you more than anything else Pallu :)
hugs dear, you are slow and steady. Every path you tread has a loveliness in it.
i read this post 2 days back, somehow this post keeps haunting me..
So i have come back to comment again.
"You are a special God chosen mother. you are not like other ordinary women. Pallavi is doting, lovely mother with lots of patience.
Going ahead does not matter in this race. You will be doubly rewarded for all your efforts.
See you have created an awareness in the community and helping out other mothers. It means great."
down the line, you will be running around with 2 more kids, you will need this patience :-)
